"We knew when planning our project, at the beginning of the Pandemic, that finding trades and guiding the construction side of our build would be a real challenge, given the demand for great people in the region, supply chain hiccups, and the rising prices for labour. Having Michelle and her team drive this process--from permits, costing, estimates, getting quotes, and bringing her team of trades and her years of connections to work on our project--was like watching an orchestra in action. Over the 6 month long construction period, each month she delivered amazing results, brought clarity to the financial side of each decision, introduced neutral but brilliant alternatives when things (or materials) didn't go as envisioned, and inspired her crew and sub trades to pull off amazing feats of engineering and logistics. Looking back now, I'm not sure how it could have been a smoother process.
People in the commercial construction and development business have marveled and asked how we pulled it off, with so many technical aspects, in a downtown location, in the time-frame we did. "I hired MMI Construction to "take the reins" on bringing together a team to manage, design, construction and furnish my new holistic health clinic. They were able to incorporate and bring to reality, my vision of a boutique multi-disciplinary therapy clinic -not an easy feat working with such a small space - and making it feel comfortable and functional. MMI Construction efficiently and successfully built four clinic offices with a comfortable waiting area, wide hall, a large washroom, and small kitchenette with a washer/dryer. The team's organization and attention to detail started right from demo (appreciated by strata and property managers), and continued throughout the course of building, and then again with finishes - quality finishing carpentry, painting, flooring, custom cabinetry, custom wallpapers and murals, challenging lighting installs.
