Meet our Leadership Team
Project Management Leader | General Contractor | Founder Leading MMI Construction is Michelle, a seasoned Project Manager and General Contractor. Her keen eye for detail, commitment to quality, and coupled with her calm, approachable nature - shape the values and culture of MMI Construction. Michelle's unique background includes being a framer and general contractor before obtaining her interior design diploma from BCIT. With over 28 years of experience in design/build for commercial interiors and high-end residential projects, Michelle brings a wealth of knowledge in construction scheduling, supervision, project management and a deep understanding of design, in her projects across Canada and the USA. In the recent reformatting of MMI in 2023 - Michelle has chosen to focus her energy on her biggest passion - construction - and bring in other design partners to the MMI projects. This allows her to focus on project management and general contracting, while utilize her past design experience to facilitate a better project experience. In her personal time, Michelle enjoys hanging with her family, playing with her (and other people's) dogs, hiking, lake fishing, dancing, beach volleyball, basketball, exploring food and wine with friends, and learning about natural health remedies. "Construction is my passion. I thrive on the problem-solving, details, collaborative spirit, and the efficiency of pulling it all together on time. Transforming client visions into tangible spaces that exceed their expectations, and then, to see them working in their new space! -That is why I love doing what I do!"

His calm and objective perspective, sets the tone for efficient and effective project execution. Collaborating with Michelle for over 25 years, their dynamic leadership consistently delivers top-quality projects and exceptional customer service. When John is not working he enjoys spending time with his family, mountain biking, hiking, making art, reading, international cooking and exploring scotches.
